L. D. Simmons is a mental-skills coach who works exclusively with golfers at all levels, including juniors, college players, professionals and adult amateurs. He helps his players Find Mastery at their competitive level by improving their mental skills, course management skills and practice habits.

L. D. received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and a law degree from Vanderbilt University.  He practiced law for before moving to the field of sports psychology.  He brings to his practice a life-long interest in the mental side of sport and is completing his master’s degree in sports psychology.

L. D. played golf at Davidson College and competed at the state and regional amateur level.  His two sons played golf at the Division I level, which gave him a first-hand view of what it takes to be successful at the college level.
