Individual Coaching

Competitive Evaluations:

The first step in developing a player’s mental skills program is to evaluate his or her performance in a competitive setting.  It is impossible to assess a player’s mental strengths and weaknesses by observing their swing or interviewing them in an office setting.  It is essential to watch the player perform.  L. D. observes a tournament round, evaluates the student’s mental and course management skills, interviews the student and prepares written recommendations on a mental-skills improvement plan based on his observations.

Individual Coaching Sessions:

L. D. offers private coaching sessions that include meetings in his office, time on the practice ground and practice green, and time on the golf course.  Every player is different and L. D. designs an improvement plan tailored to the individual player. His core program includes sessions focused on the nine essential mental skills identified above.
